Please note that the regular 5-leg race – RUN, BIKE, RUN, BIKE, PADDLE will run as per normal and the “double-duathlon” competitors will not be eligible for the overall fastest time prize.
This year there will be a new Double Duathlon Division in the Red Island Relay for those who do not want to complete the water leg. That’s right – NO WATER LEG if you don’t want it. Prizes will be awarded for female / male in the solo, 2-person and 4-person categories.
You can register in person at the Heart & Stroke office on 180 Kent Street in Charlottetown.

This year we say goodbye to race organizer Ardelle Hynes – good luck Ardelle! Special thanks to Ken Sampson, Brad Trivers and all the volunteers that help make the Red Island Relay a success. In 2011 Cycling PEI is heading up organization of the race – it’s going to be good!
