There will be an after party following the event. We are encouraging people to stay down on site and camp. There will be music in the event center building starting early evening. Special camping rates for anyone involved with the relay are $15/night just indicate you are with the relay to get the special rate. We will be having a bonfire in the evening and a free pancake breakfast in the next morning. We will be mingling in the event center for the evening.

Hopefully your training is going well with only 8 days left until the 2011 Red Island Relay!
Starting now bike checks will take place at Sporting Intentions until race day. Bike checks can happen on-site the day of the race but we encourage everyone to get their bike checked early to avoid congestion.
Register today because any registrations after May 25th will be $70/person instead of $50.
You can register in person at the Heart & Stroke office on 180 Kent Street in Charlottetown.

Please note that the regular 5-leg race – RUN, BIKE, RUN, BIKE, PADDLE will run as per normal and the “double-duathlon” competitors will not be eligible for the overall fastest time prize.
This year there will be a new Double Duathlon Division in the Red Island Relay for those who do not want to complete the water leg. That’s right – NO WATER LEG if you don’t want it. Prizes will be awarded for female / male in the solo, 2-person and 4-person categories.
You can register in person at the Heart & Stroke office on 180 Kent Street in Charlottetown.
